...The Story Behind The Rock!...

This rock 'n' roll machine currently know as The Letdowns, wasn't always as so Godly as they appear today. Lets start our journey about 6 years ago with a shitty little band called The Abductors. The Abductors was a short lived, trash rock band with Eric Levan on bass, Jon King on guitar/vocals, and Pat on drums. After about 4 shows, 2 boom box recordings, and plenty of ass whippings from local cow pokes, they split and went thier own merry ways. After about a year of no-rockin-action, one of Jon's friends introduced him to a band called Gas Jacket who needed another guitarist. Jon eventually joined this band after plenty of bribes consisting of Drugs and blowjobs. After one show with Johnny, their homosexual bass player quit because of Jon's "unusual stage behavior." Soon after this flaming faggot left, Jon said his friend Eric would replace their old bass player if they wanted. After a night of rough sex with Eric, they decided to let him join.

At the same time, the wild sex machine Eric was playing with 3 little pricks know as Jordan, Jarod & Nate. That band sucked and didn't make it outta the basement. They had no name and no ambition to do anything. After a couple months Jordan A. D. D. kicked in and he quit. At the same time Jon forgot to pull out and he became a daddy and fled to Lancaster Pa to avoid complete humiliation from his friends.

While Jon was playing family man Jordan, Eric & Ben started a band called The Lost, they practiced for a couple months and got a set down, and asked Jon to move back to town and join on lead guitar. He ditched the family guy thing and went back to being beer trash and joined on lead guitar. After a couple shows, we got sick of Ben and called it quits.

We all took a couple months break and indulged in a life alcoholism, and porno addiction. After a 13 step program for the porn, we were all partially cured and had to fill the empty hole left by the porno with something new. So The Letdowns came about. After a month of learning 6 songs they went in and recorded 4. They sent them out to a couple label's just to see what would come out of it. The got a 7'' inch on "Records Not Excuses" out of Seattle Washington, and A couple Different cd compilations on various labels. After 2 more months of practice they had a 12 song set down and were ready to rock the nation.

There you have it, the birth of the greatest rock 'n' roll band on the face of the earth today.
