So where does one begin to tell a story about a life long dream to go fast.. or for that matter own a car that he's always wanted???
The story starts roughly about 2 years ago, i think it was 04ish... i had owned a 91 Acura integra LS(DA) for quite sometime, got it as a graduation present from my grandparents and love it, great on gas, ok speed and just was a good base for me learning the whole import thing..i started to go into a ricer phase a felt the need for a body kit, an invador style one..about a week after having the whole kit on there, a girl ran the stop sign on florida blvd, with my girlfriend(wife now) and my brother in the car, she had no insurance..
The cops didn't know who to put at fault by since i had longer skid marks, they put me at fault, the spd limit was 35, i was going 40ish i think maybe slower..so that ended my honda days, or so i thought..
Roughly 3 weeks later, after working 3 jobs, and just tryin to keep up with bills i got tired of driving this pos around..i started to think about getting it fixed, ideas for motor spots E.I. LS/VTEC's etc etc..Wasn't happening lowest price alone was Adema's collsion which wanted a arm/leg and one of my testicules for payment..in any case, i started for the phone book, two weeks went by of me calling junkyards, used/new dealer ships loan offices and what not tryin to get a new car..i finally FINALLY found a shop that had a integra but not just any integra...a G..S...R..!!! i was so excited to actually know there's on in this town...for those who know the location of N.Foster, I shouldn't have to say anymore...
The car i was told by the guys who had it at the shop said H22 swap integra, before i even saw the car i started to rant and rave about it before i even saw the car, first mistake, i secondly then thought i knew all i thought i should know about type-r's man was i wrong...in short show case here's a few pics of my gsr when i first got it home, the car infact jumped timing horrible so thats what my buddy darren, and I are working on in these pics..enjoy the first pics of the history of the car..
Thats old school..so after working time and time again over and over again, rewiring, remodifiying everything on the car...it looks like this now..
