Our Rats
We have had Rats since January 2005. Now in April we have 8 rats, and one of our females has just given birth of about 11 pups.
We have started collecting as many different coloured Rats as we can find from local pet shops, but Penrith pet stores seem to carry only brown and white rats.
There is one good Pet shop in the area now that we have became friends with, and they have been some of our best advice, on rat care and breeding.
Our First Two Rats were Dimebag and Lestat.
This is Dimebag
Dimebag was our second rat, He and Lestat are from the same litter. We have tried to keep our rats this way pairs of brothers but no pairs of anything else.
Lestat
Lestat was my first rat. He is now about 3 months old and is about the size of a tub of butter. He has just become the father of a litter of about 12 Rattlets.
This is the king Elvis
Elvis is a gentle rat, he is the king of rock and roll. We also own his brother Bodhi.
