The Rest of Eternity
Now Playing: Lliberate
Topic: Awakening
I awoke face down in the sands of a beach shore with the cold ocean tide rolling in and out atop of me. Over the course of several minutes I brought myself to a stand and gazed up above me towards the heavens. The sun burned a bright yellow in the sky above me searing at my eyes. A shot of pain that ran down the whole of my back brought me back to me knees. I felt heavy. And I felt trapped. I was trapped, and still am. In this land of mortals I am trapped and forsaken.
I managed to pull myself off of the beach and into a heavily forested area, filled with mostly a type of large grass that if I remembered correctly, was called bamboo. I quickly fell asleep in the coolness of the shade amidst the giant bamboo. For days, maybe weeks, I drifted in and out of sleep. If you want to call it that, it was more like I was drifting out of one pain and into another. For my back hurt and bled constantly, then eventually I would drift into a world of darkness and nightmares, haunted non-stop by the Gods that had abandoned me, and by the image of the heavens that I would probably never see again for the rest of eternity.
I tried to remember what part of the earth I was falling towards when I was cast out of the heavens, but for the life of me I could not remember. till one day lying beneath the bamboo nearly starved to death I found that I was being approached by Humans on all sides. Seeing as I couldn't move without causing a good deal of damage to myself, I wasn't in much of a mood to kill a bunch of blood bags.
The killing never came however, for as they approached me they kneeled before me and touched their heads to the ground. It was this gesture, the rather well made armor they wore, and the well crafted curved blades they carried that reminded me of where I fell. A place where many Gods and Goddesses still walked, a place incredibly in tune with the rest of the spiritual world, a place the locals called "Japan".

The Fall.
Now Playing: "And all things will end" -Avenged Sevenfold
Topic: Falling from the heavens.
True I had not forseen the Gods reacting the way they did, tearing the wings from hundreds of angels and casting them to the underworld. At first I will admit, I felt an incredible guilt, after all it was my fault. Then as I was falling the great distance into the realm of mortals I began to think of my punishment. Spending the remainder of time in the realm of mortals. Though I had little time to think about this as I was drifting into unconsciousness due to the amount of blood that spewed from my back where my left wing was just but a little while ago. I noticed one more thing before I passed out however. My blood wasn't red like a mortal's or demon's, nor was it clear or a light hue of blue like the Gods and the rest of my kind. It was black. As black as a night with no moon, as black as the feathers of the Raven, and as I would come to find out later in my existance, as black as my tormented soul.
