Field Report/Photos

This is one of the very first photos taken with my new hp photosmart digital camera. Before I captured this 'vortex'(the term ghost hunters have coined for this particular type of anomaly) I really never thought about investigating my own condo. I've lived here with my parents since I was 10 years old, and when we moved in, the place was brand new. There is no history of any sudden death or tragic suicide. When I took this photo, I was not smoking, and the control photos I took minutes later under identical conditions came out normal.

Seconds before I snapped this photo, I politely asked if any spirit/being/entity would please manifest themsel/f/ves for my digital camera. This is the first time I have ever made such a request in my own home. There were no highly reflective surfaces near me at the time this pic was taken. That was about 5 days ago, and since then, I've been getting anomalous photos (mostly orbs) every night. I am suspending judgement regarding possible explainations of any of these photos.

I have submitted this picture to the digital camera company's tech support forum, with no preamble about 'ghosts'. I simply asked if this was a result of an internal error with my new camera, or if they had any other possible technical explaination regarding lens flare, light reflection, etc. I await their response and will post it here. Below are detailed pics of the 'vortex'. The second picture has been altered, the brightness/color/contrast has been tweaked to give a different perspective of the anomaly.
