Format: Artist - Title Format (Label Cat.nbr, Country Year) pressing-details, condition Sleeve/Record, price in Euro (€)

 Acid - More Acid LP (CBS 81079, Austria 1975) tss/bss EX/EX	€35
Austrian rock band, second album. Rare. Very nice copy, seam splits apart. Some heavy
moves, some jazzy rock, sometimes funky, but the best tracks for me are reminiscent of the
Grease Band, built on some great Hammond playing. If they'd been German, would this be a
major krautrock collectable? No, but its as good as many mid-level krautrock (or yugo)
rock bands. I also have a 7" in PS from their first album if anyone's interested.
Aerosmith - Rocks LP (CBS 81379, Israel 1976) bss, different back cover artwork ex/ex	€10
Aerosmith - Look Homeward Angel (Ze Anonym Plattenspieler ZAP 7868, US 1978?) ex/ex	€25
	rare original 70s bootleg
Live NYC August 29, 1975. This is an excellent stereo boot of a "Toys In The Attic" concert
taken from a "King Biscuit Flour Hour" FM Broadcast and one of a number of bootlegs
containing a different selection of tracks
 Aerosmith - Rock This Way (Kornyfone TKRWN 1812, US 1975) ex/ex	€25
	rare original 70s bootleg
same source as above with some overlap
 Alameda - s/t LP (Epic EPC 83571, Spain 1979) foc ex/ex	€25
	Spanish prog-fusion, debut
 Alameda - Misterioso Manantial LP (Epic EPC 84315, Spain 1980) w/inner m-/m-	€25
	Second album, nice copy
Amon Duul - Fool Moon LP (Demi Monde DMLP1020, UK 1989) m-/m-	€15
Fourth LP from the Dave Anderson/John Weinzierl version of Amon Duul. Nice copy.
 April Wine - Electric Jewels LP (Aquarius AGR 504, Canada 1973) +insert m-/m-	€25
Excellent third LP. After two weak efforts, April Wine finally arrived
with this solid hard/heavy record. This and 1975's Stand Back are the two
pre-Harder Faster LPs worth owning. The first two are OK but the late
70s LP really suck. But this is a good, and dead hard to find in Europe.
Ariel - A Strange Fantastic Dream LP (Harvest SHSP 4028, UK 1973) textured cover ex/ex	€100
Fantastic Aussie prog band, ex Spectrum & Tamam Shud members.
UK edition with different cover to original Australian issue.
 Arkus - 1914 LP (Arkus 240381, NL 1981) ex(-)/ex tss w/PR sheet	€35
Superior dutch neo-prog.. it seems odd calling something 25 years old "neo prog".
 Art Bears - Winter Songs LP (Ralph RR 7905, US 1979) w/booklet ex/ex	€15
"The 2nd album consists of twelve songs of various tensions: rest vs. speed,
improv vs. pulse, space vs. density, Dagmar Kraus' vocals vs. everyone else.
Fred Frith explores discordance through his guitar, and European folk figures
through his always enjoyable violin. Though not as confrontational as their
other work, the centerpiece has to be the frantic 'Rats and Monkeys' with
three minutes of teeth-gritting, out-of-control insanity..."
Art Bears - The World as it is Today LP (Recommended Re 6622, UK 1981) ex/ex	€15
Third and last album. "Cutler and Frith are natural collaborators; Cutler's
drumming always rides a very fine line between the scattershot and the funky,
while Frith bounces his horror-show guitar noise and carnival piano off of
Cutler's grooves with manic abandon and fearsome inventiveness. And Krause's
singing is just as inventive; she whoops, croons and screams her way through
the density of Cutler's lyrics without a hesitation or misstep. Easy listening
it isn't, but it's sure worth hearing. Frith fans, in particular, should
	consider this album a must-own."
 Art Zoyd - Phase IV 2xLP (Recommended RR 14&15, UK 1982) ex/m-	€38
French avant-garde drawing on classical music and jazz, a constantly
shifting series of themes and ideas spread over four sides.
Ash Ra Tempel - Starring Rosi LP (Cosmic Music/Ohr/Barclay 840 101, France 1973) French original ex-/vg+	€30
Ash Ra Tempel - Starring Rosi LP (Kosmische Muzik/Pop Import KM 58007, Germany 1973/1981) 1981 issue m-/m-	€30
I've decided to curtail my hoarding instinct. I have 3 copies of this album,
but I can only listen to 1 at a time, so it's time to offload the other two:
a French original and a German 2nd press.
Atomic Rooster - Death Walks Behind You LP (Elektra EKS 74094, US 1971) EX/EX-	€15
	butterfly label
 Atomic Rooster - Nice'N'Greasy LP (Dawn Records LDN 30226, France 1973) EX/EX	€35
 Atomic Rooster - Assortment LP (Charisma 6499 632, Germany 1974) EX/EX	€15
 Autosalvage - s/t LP (Edsel ED286, UK,1968/1988) legit reissue m-/m-	€25
Getting hard to find now, and much better sounding that the horrible unauthorized repress
from a couple of years ago, this is a new copy of this legit UK reissue from 1988.
 Aviary - s/t LP (Epic EPC 83572, NL 1979) w/inner ex/ex	€15
 Aztecs - Live LP (Havoc HST-4001, Oz 1971) foc; spine wear/swoc vg+/ex	€25
One of the great OZ Rock live LP's. Led by Billy Thorpe.
Ranges from prog rock to hard rock & blues rock. Heavy guitar and cool hammond.

Ginger Baker & Friends - Eleven Sides of Baker LP (Mountain TOPC 5005, UK 1976) EX/EX	€10
Never the greatest songwriter but Baker's elpees feature good African
fusion sounds. Nice copy too. UK original. Recently spotted on ebay
	as "Clever Sides of Baker"...
 Band Of Joy - s/t LP (Polydor 2310 588, UK 1978) w/insert ex/ex	€15
Most notable for including future Led Zeppelin members Robert Plant and Jon
Bonham, Band Of Joy's story is nonetheless surprisingly murky [...] In 1976 The
	Band Of Joy reunited, with the following lineup: Kevin Gammond (guitar, vocals);
Paul Lockey (guitar, vocals); John Pasternak (bass, vocals); Michael Chetwood
(keyboards) and Francesco Nizza (drums). They released a self-titled album in
1978 (Polydor 2310 588); Plant and Bonham had planned on guesting on the LP, but
that idea was scrapped. (Scott Swanson / Vernon Joynson / Keith Parry / John
	Alvey)
 Bang - s/t LP (Capitol ST-11015, US 1972) coh EX/EX	€50
Classic first LP and a tough one to find in good condition. I recently upgraded
to a sealed copy, which is the only reason I'm selling this keeper copy. One of
the key pre-metal hard rock albums.
Banzai - Hora Nata LP (Delta DG 10.001, NL 1975) foc; edge wear/sl.tearing ex-/ex	OFFERS
Genesis influenced progressive rock from Belgium, a rare and much sought
	after album.
Franco Battiato - La Voce Del Padrone LP (EMI 1A-064-18558, Holland 1981) w/inner ex/ex	€12
After the experimentalism of the 70s, this is shorter, song-based electronica.
 Franco Battiato - L'Arca Di Noe LP (EMI 1c-064-18597, Germany 1982) w/booklet ex/ex	€12
After the experimentalism of the 70s, this is shorter, song-based electronica.
Beatles - A Hard Day's Night souvenir book (Australia) swoc ex	€10
 Be-Bop Deluxe - Axe Victim (1974) / Futurama (1975) 2xLP (EMI EDP 1546791, UK 1983) foc m-/m-	€17.50
2-LP reissue of first two albums, essential! back cover scan
Be-Bop Deluxe - Sunburst Finish LP (Revolver Records REV LP 71, UK 1986) M-/M-	€10
Nice copy of this good quality direct metal ditigal remaster (DMM) from the 1980s,
from a label thats apparently disappeared. Possibly Be-Bop's best LP, you can't
go wrong with the first 3.
Be-Bop Deluxe - Raiding the Divine Archive LP (Harvest EMS 1130, UK 1986) m/m	€20
Excellent singles and rarities collection which has been issued on CD with
different artwork. This is the original cover.
Bethnal - Crash Landing LP (Vertigo 9102 029, France 1978) promo stamp, inner tss EX/M-	€10
Interesing late 70s proggish rock colliding with new wave... everything
I've read about them suggests Bethnal never captured their live appeal on
record. Their two albums are definitely interesting even if they fail to
really inspire. The best thing about this one is the bizarre Hipgnosis cover.
This is a very nice French promo copy which looks unplayed and would be
totally mint if not for the tss.
Between - Stille Uber Der Zeit LP (Wergo Spectrum SM 1023, Germany 1980) ex/ex	€12
	Sixth(?) album
(Between) Peter Michael Hamel - Nada LP (Wergo Spectrum SM 1013, Germany 1977) ex/ex	€12
Big Brother & The Holding Company - How Hard It Is LP (CBS SBP 473914 (C 30738), NZ 1971) foc orange label, ew ex-/ex	€15
Fourth album, second without Janis Joplin. By this time Big Brother were a
highly accomplished twin guitar acid blues band. An under-rated album of
really good psych rock and quite hard to find as an original orange CBS
	label.
 Bighorn - s/t LP (Columbia JC 35618, US 1978) inner EX/EX	€25
Obscure US (or Canadian?) rock band.
 Birtha - s/t LP (Dunhill/Probe DSX 50127, US/UK 1972) foc rw/sobc	€20
 Blackstone - s/t LP (Epic BN 26294, Holland 1971) some laminate bubbles ex/ex	€12.50
Ex Rhinoceros members who reformed as Blackstone Rangers, later shortened to Blackstone.
Sounds a bit like Crabby Appleton. Max Weinberg (drums) later in Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band.
Black Sun Ensemble - s/t LP (Reckless RECK 6, UK 1985-87/1988) stickered PS m-/m-	€20
 Blackwell - s/t LP (Atlantic/Festival SAL-933779, New Zealand 1969) green Atlantic label, stoc ex/ex	€12
 Blond - s/t LP (Fontana SRF-67067, USA 1969) unipak foc coh EX/M-	€35
	Swedish group Tages, excellent LP.
Blue Cheer - s/t LP (Philips/Motive Series 6463 142, Germany 1967-68/1982) ex/ex	€15
1982 compilation of 1967-68 material in unique cover, one for completists
 Bobbidazzler - s/t LP (RCA PL 12196, UK 1977) EX/EX	€25
Obscure US band who also recorded as Ivory (one LP on Playboy Records 1973).

Buddy Bohn - A Drop in the Ocean LP (Purple 1c-062-92819, Germany 1971) Purple label, foc ex/ex	€45
Rare album of orchestrated, folky songs. The second release on Purple Records.
Bohn, a singer/guitarist, made an (equally boring) album on Happy Tiger which is
	much easier to find.
Bowie
Andy Bown - Gone To My Head LP (Mercury Records SRM-1-625, USA 1972) foc coh ew bss EX(-)/EX	€10
Looks better that the description implies. Great cover artwork . . . alas that's the only
good thing I can say about this LP! The music does nothing for me whatsoever.
Ex member of The Herd and Judas Jump (another LP I didn't think much of!)
 Boxer - Absolutely LP (Epic EPC 82151, NL 1977) sol ex/ex	€12
 Brainbox - Parts LP (Harvest 5c-056-2451, NL 1971) ex/ex	€55
post Akkerman line-up with ex Amsterdam personnel; listed incorrectly as a
compilation in "Scented Gardens..", in fact this is all new material, with
a clear Yes influence ("The Yes Album").
 Francois Breant - Sons Optiques LP (Egg 900.553, France 1978) m-/m-	€20
 Broughtons - Parlez-Vous English? LP (Babylon 80007, Germany 1979) foc ex/ex	€10
Duncan Browne - The Wild Places LP (Logo Records 5c-062-62361, NL 1978) insert stoc EX/EX	€10
Browne's first solo LP after splitting from Metro. Metro's first LP is easily
their best and thats largely thanks to Duncan Browne, but I reckon it's
also the high point of his career (yes that includes the two late 60s/early
70s albums, which I don't rate at all!)
Brownsville Station - Motor City Connection LP (Philips 6369 812, Holland 1975) promo ex/ex	€10
5th or 6th album of high volume straight ahead rootsy rock & roll -- godawful!
Johnny Burnette and the Rock 'n Roll Trio - s/t LP (Coral CDLM 8054, UK 1978) ex/ex	€10
Reissue of the famous 1956 10"
 Burning - Atrapado en El Amor LP (Belter 2-47.185, Spain 1982) +inner EX/EX	€20
 Burton & Cunico - Strive Seek Find LP (Philips 6395 151, NL 1972) tss EX/EX	€25
Ray Burton and Gino Cunico were in the Australian 60s pop/flower psych band
The Executives who moved to the US, changed their name to The Inner Sense and
signed to Kama Sutra, but split before anything was released. The duo recorded
this album for Family Productions/Paramount. Burton then returned to Australia
	to join Ayers Rock.
As hippy duos go this is a pretty good album, with lots of melodic, laidback,
	country-tinged rural rock.
Kate Bush - The Kick Inside LP (EMI Records EMS-91042, Japan 1978) +obi +insert ex+/m-	OFFERS
beautiful copy of first Japanese pressing
Kate Bush - The Kick Inside LP (EMI Records 5c-062-06603, NL 1978) ex(-)/ex	€25
rare dutch grey vinyl issue, stoc
 BZN - Greatest Hits LP (Negram ELS 980, NL 1971-73/1973) EX/EX	€25
This is the hard rock version of BZN who released "The Bastard".
It contains tracks from that album plus single-only tracks from
1971-73. It's excellent hard rock reminiscent of The Who,
Jethro Tull and Golden Earring. How it failed to connect with a
larger audience is a mystery. This has nothing in common with the
easy listening drivel released under the BZN name from the mid-1970s
onwards. Recommended, and hard to find like all records by this
era of the band (if anyone has a spare "The Bastard" in EX/EX
	condition, please get in touch).
Cactus - One Way Or Another LP (Atco 40216, France 1971) ex/ex	€15

Francois Cahen - Great Winds LP (Inner City IC 1118, US 1981) EX/EX	€12
 Captain Beefheart - Mirror Man (1970) LP (Edsel ED184, UK 1986) m/m	€15
Captain Beefheart - Clear Spot LP (Reprise REP 54007, Germany 1972) m-/m-	€20
Captain Beefheart - Shiny Beast (Bat Chain Puller) LP (Virgin OVED 67, UK 1979) soc ex/m-	€10
 Caravan - Waterloo Lily LP (Kingdom KV.6001, France 1972) foc m-/m-	€25
Fourth LP, a slight dip after "Land of Grey and Pink" but still classic Caravan.
I also have a dutch Pink Elephant copy which comes in a unique single sleeve
though it is based on the inside gatefold artwork of the original. It's also €25.
Cascada - s/t (Come Back To Me Baby) mini-LP (Chambacu VR 21380, Holland 1980) wobc ex/ex	OFFERS
Rare mini-LP recorded by four South American & two Dutch musicians in Amsterdam
in 1980. Sounds vaguely Santana-ish, with a funky latin edge featuring guitar
and electric piano in equal doses, some flute too and of course lots percussion.
Line-up includes Alvaro Pasquet (guitar) and Jaime Roos (bass). Rare private
	press.
 Casey & The Pressure Group - Memphis Revisited LP (Polydor 2925 010, NL 1972) swobc EX/EX	€25
 Casiopea - Thunder Live LP (Alfa ALR-6037, Japan 1980) w/obi, one nap ex/ex	€10
	Japanese progressive funky jazz fusion.
Catharsis & Bernard Verley - Rimbaud C'est Toi: Le Bateau Ivre LP (EMI Pathe 2c-064-11473, France 197?) foc/waterdamaged vg/ex	€20

 Celtic Folkweave - s/t LP (Polydor Records 2480 253, France 1974) laminated ew VG+/EX-	€15
Sold to me as NM, this copy has many hairlines and the sleeve is a little creased and has
some wear and minor splitting at the top right corner -- Near Mint my ass! This is the French
pressing of the Celtic Folkweave LP from 1974, sonically superior (to my ears) to the Irish
original. I am still looking or a NM copy of this, so please get in touch if you have one.
	Here's a bargain VG+/EX- copy for €15
 Charge - s/t LP (Kissing Spell KSLP 9205, UK 1973/1992) M/M	€20
I've forgotten who this is... This isn't the band with the self-titled LP
on Fresh Air/Phonogram with the very nice cover (but fairly dull contents).
This is heavy, jammy psychedelic hard rock with that underground sound,
some of it dull, but when it takes off it really flies. Taken from an
	acetate or demo album.
Chicago Transit Authority - s/t 2xLP (Columbia GP 8, US 1968) foc, original six eyes label, slrw	€25
	back cover scan
Now Chicago were never worth a damn IMO but this is a genuinely interesting album.
"Free-Form Guitar" is the track usually cited as proof of this but frankly that's
7 mins of feedback wank... about as interesting as the feedback disc in Neil Young's
"Arc" set, or Pat Methany's feedback LP, remember that particular turkey? Or all those
improv bands in the early 90s? Nope, what's genuinely interesting here is the attempt
at a jazz-rock synthesis which hasn't settled down yet into either horn rock or fusion.
And there is some great, heavy-ish, post-psych guitar playing on it too. There's a
great LP inside this double-LP set. This is an original 1968 pressing and quite rare.
 Cine Palace - s/t (AKA Rue Camille Niel) LP (Philips 6313 220, France 1981) ex/ex	€20
excellent French hard rock/metal band in AC/DC style
 Circus 2000 - s/t LP (Akarma AK-1021, Italy 1970/1999) M/M	€18
Still in print, I think, but I've noticed Akarma recently switched to
thin sleeves for their back catalogue and this is a thick heavy
duty sleeve original. Reissue of a rare 1970 Italian psych-on-the-
cusp-of-prog album, usually compared to Jefferson Airplane. Not
rated by Italian prog fans because of its American sound, but this
is well worthwhile for fans of JA or Yankee Dollar.
 Citizen Band - s/t LP (Mandrill MAN 2, NZ 1978) ex/ex	€25
NZ rock/pub rock band, only released down under, dead hard to find
 Richard Clapton - Goodbye Tiger LP (Infinity L 36352, Australia 1977) foc +insert rw ex/ex	€10
Australian singer with full rock band backing, did nothing outside Australia,

case with these 70s Australian elpees.

 Joe Cocker - Joe Cocker! (1968) / With A Little Help From My Friends (1969) 2xLP (Cube 2635 002 (2338 003/4), Germany 1972) foc ex/ex	€10

Bert de Coninck & Jean Rousseau - Enfant Terrible LP (Parsifal KLE 4000/221, Belgium 1975) ex/x	€50
An important record in the annals of Belgian rock history (longer than you might imagine) and
I don't really want to sell this, hence the somewhat bloated price. De Coninck is less known
than he should be, but I suppose thats what he gets for singing in dutch!
Jeff Cooper & Stoned Wings - Tribute to Jimi Hendrix LP (Europa E 454, Germany 1971) ex-/ex	€9
same as the Purple Fox LP issued in the UK
Copperfield (NL) - No Song No Supper LP (BASF Records 16-25305-8, NL 1973) +insert toc taped seams VG+/EX	€25
Dutch folk-rock/ folk-pop band with proggy overtones, a tough one to find.
This is their first album. They did a second on Ivory Tower ("Copp'N'Roll", ITL 7401) which is just as hard to find.
I've seen both on ebay in the €50-75 range but this is madness, €35-45 should be sufficient.
The sleeve has some issues, so priced accordingly.

 Creedence Clearwater Revival - Cosmo's Factory LP (Twen Bellaphon BLPS 19005, Germany 1970) foc+poster ex/ex-	€25
A common album, perhaps, but this is an original German Bellaphon issue in
amazing condition given what it is, with the original poster intact and the
original gatefold sleeve design (dating from before Bellaphon's sleeve
manufacturers figured out how to make gatefold sleeves using just one piece
of card!). Original Creedence LPs are tough to find in good conditon; 70s and
80s represses are all unsatisfactory (except perhaps UK EMI pressings from the
mid-70s) which is probably why Akarma reissued them all a couple of
	years ago.
"Cosmo's Factory" was their 5th LP in 3 years. They over-produced wildly between
1968-1970, and assembled LPs with less care than lesser contemporaries, with the
result that their reputation was damaged, and their chances of being taken
'seriously' were reduced, and so today they are not held in anything near as
high a regard as a band like, say, The Band, even though their music is vastly
	superior.
Creedence Clearwater Revival - Pendulum LP (Bellaphon BLPS 19017, Germany 1971) foc ex/ex-	€25
Sixth LP, and last one before the rot set in. Again this is a fantastic
German original; same comments apply as for "Cosmo's Factory" above.

 D.B.M.&T. - Fresh Ear LP (Philips Records 6308 029, Germany 1970) foc ew/sobc VG+/EX-	€15
Tough one to find. When Dave Dee went solo in 1969, the rest of Dave Dee, Dozy,
Beaky Mick & Titch persevered as DBM&T. This is their only album (incorrecly credited
as a DDDBM&T LP on various online sources including allmusic!). It's much better
than you probably expect: it's light yet driving acoustic rock music with the
occasional Beatles-esque or country tinge. It reminds me of artists inspired
by CSN&Y rather than CSN&Y themselves. One LP that springs to mind is the sole
effort by the New Zealand outfit Waves. It lacks immediate punch but is a real
grower. It also lacks a distinctive lead vocalist presence but if you can get
over that, it is an excellent, highly enjoyable album. Now this copy is a little
crackily and the cover a little tatty, hence the low price, but its a more than
decent filler copy which will more than suffice until you find a nice minty one.

	Legit reissue.
Johnny Duhan - Current Affairs LP (Plastic TONS 737, IRL 1984) w/insert, sticker damage vg+/ex	€20
ex Granny's Intentions frontman; I don't know what he did in the '70s, but
	this is his solo debut.
Paul Egan - Island of Dreams LP (CBS 83851, UK 1979) signed ex/ex	OFFERS
Irish solo artist, rare progressive/electronics. Side one has four 70s euro prog
tracks, like Eloy, Genesis, with slight fusion-esque tone and quite French sounding.
But the best stuff is on side two, one long (10+ min) track and one shorter one.
Egan was an Irish multi-instrumentist based in Paris and I must admit I'd never
heard of him or his album. He plays guitars, percussion and all sorts of keyboards.
The album features several guest musicians on drums, guitars, flutes, piano and
violin (David Cross of King Crimson). All instrumental. This has got to be a rare
item. Released on CBS thru Midnite Records (Jackie Hayden). Signed on the front
	cover by Egan.
Egg - s/t LP (Deram Nova SDN 14, UK 1970) M-/M-	€70
A fabulous copy of the first Egg LP.

Not absolutely sure which one is the original... probably the orange label but I'm not sure.
This isn't Elly & Rikkert's best album IMO but its the one everyone wants.

 Embryo - Rocksession LP (Brain 201.109, Germany 1973) foc M-/M-	€30
Slightly later press of this classic krautrock outing; still
has the green label but with the longer format number.
ELP (Emerson Lake and Palmer) - Live In Concert DVD (Falcon FNM 0285, Germany 1970-77/200?) m/m	€10
Falcon seem to be putting out bootleg DVDs alongside their legit CDs.
Not sure how they're getting away with it! This has one track from the
Isle of Wight 1970 ("Blue Rondo a la Turk") plus two 50+ minute films:
"The Works Live" at Montreal Olympic Stadium 1977 and the Manticore
Special promo film from 1973, which includes some laughable staged
rehearsal banter. Repulsive yet compelling! Note this is a bootleg
(or certainly "twilight") so its mastered from film or video with
no cleanups, 4:3 full frame, region free, mono,
Emperor - s/t LP (Private Stock PS 2029, US 1977) date on cover EX/M-	€15
