There are several tools that everyone needs to make a good snow statue. These tools include: garbage cans, buckets, snow shovels, garden shovels, ice picks, axes, chisels, brushes, scafolding, and wood.
Our Statue
Our statue isn't that far along in the process yet. We are currently still making blocks of snow so that we can sculpt them into a beautiful statue of a calamity of clams. Some pictures of our statue are below. The first two pictures show the snow being shaped in a room of wooden walls. The second two pictures show some blocks that are already formed and ready to be sculpted.
Other Statues
Here are a couple of the other statues. They include a Mario set, an Ocean set, an Atlantis set, some sort of Ball and Piano set, a Giant Squid set, a Blowfish set, and a SpongeBob set. I'm anxious to see how some of these turn out in the end. They are already looking awesome and put our statue to shame. All of these statues are on campus and I get to see all of them every day when I go to and from class. Winter Carnival is just around the corner.
