Date: 9/17/04 >>> Tap Dogs

OMG! I went to this thing called Tap Dogs last night at the Roza Theater. I have a Theater across the street from where I'm staying. Its pretty sweet. Tap Dogs was CRAZY! They were tapdancing like normal at first, but then they added in a bunch of awsome Stomp stuff. They built things while they were tap dancing too. They had this insane stage setup where they could move all these props and pillars to form new platforms. I wish that I would have taken pictures. :( Well it doesn't matter because its all about the experience. Even if I would have taken pictures you still wouldn't be able to hear the tapping. They included things in their show such as: water, basketballs, sparks, drums, and poles. It was a really good time. I didn't even plan on going to it until my next door neighbor invited me when he won 2 free tickets. It was definitely a life changing experience to see that people can actually manuver their feet in such a way as to create music. At one point in the show the main dancer stood still as two other dancers duck taped two microphones to his ankles. It was soooooo sweet. He could make these intensely loud scrapes against the floor and when he tapped with the mics that close to the floor every tap echoed like 10 times!!
