As you may already know, chipmakers are no longer selling chips to the public and forcing the destruction of chips of any casinos that close down. Whatever is out there now, is all there will be. Invest in one of the rarest chips you will find.
Why should you buy these instead of the countless other chips out there?
Maxamillion Casino Cruise Casino Chips For Sale
- They were made in America and played in America- They are authentic Bud Jones Chips. Bud Jones, before it was absorbed
along with Paulson by a French company B & G (Bourgenne & Grasset), used to make casino chips right in America. All Bud Jones
chips were made in a factory in Las Vegas. In addition to being made here, they were played here. These chips are from a casino boat that ran out of NYC. Also, if you happened to catch the World Poker Tour at the Bellagio recently, you may have already realized that the $5's seen here are the same type of chips in play there.
- Bud Jones Quality- They never
fade, crack or chip in normal play. If properly cared for, they will last for many generations to come. These are the metal insert bud
jones chip not the coin in center ones.
The coin centers tend to pop out or move out of place. Also, do not confuse these metal
insert chips with the
cheap imported metal insert chips from China that come in sets of 500 or 1000 with a free case. Look at the quality of these chips! Notice the sharp, bright and many colorful
inserts in the mold. Check out the attractive gold lettering around the intricate design of the man in a tux drinking his martini in the center of the chip. Notice that the dollar denominations are in the mold itself. A lot of work went into these chips.
Everyone at your next poker game will be in total awe after seeing these chips. Also, these chips won't build up dirt and grime on them like they do on Paulson chips.
- They are extremely rare- You cannot find these chips here on ebay or anywhere online. Go ahead and try. These chips are from a cruise line in NYC that faced endless struggles to stay afloat (pardon the pun, I couldn't
help myself). If they weren't dealing with legal troubles, they had to deal with cashflow issues. They had to close down
soon after opening.
- They are a piece of gambling and NYC history- The casino along with a few others were the first to test the waters (here
I go again, LOL) in making riverboat gambling a viable industry in the greatest city in the world. But thanks to opposition
by NYC's former Mayor Rudy Giuliani and now current Mayor Mike Bloomberg, they are out of business. Their ventures into uncharted waters have been well documented by newspapers all over the country. The only free ones I found were at the Las Vegas Sun Times (makes sense huh?). You can read about
their attempts to bring convenient gambling to NYC here, and here.
Why own fantasy junk or something everyone already has that may never increase in value, when you can own something that definitely will.
- They are in excellent condition-
Due to the fact that the casino had to shut down soon after reopening and a lack of cashflow. Any one chip may have seen only
a few hours of play, most look like they've never been handled by players. The casino did not offer poker. Mainly blackjack
and other table games. That means, these chips while in play weren't handled much. Who shuffles chips at the blackjack table?
The chips you get will be in the same condition they were in when I got from the casino.
