i'm guessing that by now it's clear that your humble Webmistress, the Cheshire Kat, is a rabid fan of Harry Potter, and of the Marauders in particular. Indeed, if you hadn't noticed that yet, maybe i should ease up on the multisyllabic words, eh? hmm. well, tough, i'm using as many syllables as i danged well want.

Anyway, here we are in my base, unworthy Marauders shrine. Why is it i love the Marauders so much? Perhaps it's the air of mystery. They don't really get much 'face-time' in the books, now do they? Not as Marauders, in any case. Perhaps it also has something to do with the fact that they're such a classic group of mischeivous buddies. Perhaps they remind me more of my own group of friends than other characters. But for whatever complex web of psychological motives i have for loving them, i still love them. They fascinate me. (PS- that map kicks serious ass. they get major cool points for that.)

First off, let me announce in no uncertain terms I am a fan/supporter/sympathizer of Peter Pettigrew (which you should long ago have noticed, as i have raved about him on the updates page, put up a button for a Wormtail Fanlisting, and have Wormtail Links up). This is explained (hopefully) clearly and in more depth on Peter's page. Let me also make clear that i won't have any Peter-Bashing... ::pout:: because i said so. i adore Peter and no amount of griping at me can change that. Deal. If you don't like it, tough noogies. ::rolls eyes at herself:: ... and now i'm talking as if anyone cares about my website...
