I'm just gonna jump right into this and say i (like many many others i'm sure) adored Professor Lupin right from the start. He intrigued me the second he appeared. Not only is he cool as a current character in the books, he' a marauder! I mean, he'd be cool if he wasn't, but the fact that he is, the fact that he was a Teenage Werewolf who snuck around school at night with three unregistered animagi and messed about and played pranks makes him at least five times as cool. I'm sure he'd be amused to know that all the fangirls are nuts about him; i've seen a hell of alot of Fanart around this great big internet of ours, and our artists (mostly girls it seems anyway) seem to make him look sweet and gentle and wise and handsome (all of which he is of course), not losing one milligram of handsome even when graying, sickly and worn. (hmmm... wonder how he pulls it off?)

And wow, wouldn't you love having him as a teacher??? I mean, i've never had a crush on a teacher before, but i'd probably have to make an exception here... ;) Seriously though, he's great at what he does. He's wonderful as a mentor, which you'd think all teachers were but sadly... that isn't true. He'd really stand out... heck, he did really stand out, all the kids loved him. It's no wonder. Don't you?
