These pictures on the page below are of Ambigrams, also called Inversions An Ambigrams is a word or name written so it reads in more than one way. Douglas Hofstadter coined ambigram as the generic word for inversions. The 180 degree turn ambigrams can be read the second way by reading them upside down. None of the Ambigrams on this page were done by me. They were done by other people, and the addresses for them can be found on the 'Linkage' page.

All of the above are featured in the book "Angels and Demons" by Dan Brown. They say 'Illuminati', 'Earth', 'Air', 'Water' and 'Fire, and can be read at a 180 degree turn also.

The word 'Dance' as a 180 degree turn ambigram.

The words 'The Scene' as a 180 degree turn ambigram.
