What an incredible night.  The roar of the crowd when I defeated Autumn Raven for the one- two- three was like nothing I had dreamt.  Now I have put my name on one of the grander stages.  The show opens and I must be ready.  A triple threat match where each participant is deemed one of the top rising stars in the company.  One of them is me too!  That is so cool!

The rumblings backstage had not escaped my ears.  What if Youngblood's music never hit?  What if Autumn Raven did not have that distraction?  Would I still have picked up the "W".  So now, instead of celebrating a big victory after my match I find myself sitting in my locker room with my head in my hands.

This is totally not an okay thing with me, but why dwell on it too long?  I have the chance to prove my worth at Paradise against two more opponents.  One of those opponents I have been in the ring with before in the form of a six-person tag team match.  Don't worry about me though, all is good.  Sometimes I just have to take a moment for myself so that I can sort out the stuff.  So remember, it's three wrestlers in the ring at Paradise; one of them is me!  Let's all hope for the best match possible and the best performance from everyone because that makes the victory by whoever all the sweeter.

:: V. Log ::

PJ Blake - One more week, one more match, and I am still having the time of my life.  I know what everyone is probably thinking, how could I be in such a good mood with the slight controversial ending?

Well, that is an easy one, folks!  One of my trainers once told me a win is a win and that is always worth celebrating.  He also told me that distractions are part of the game and you either get caught up in them or you beat them.  So yes, I plan to celebrate my victory over Autumn Raven because a win is a win.  I expect no different should I fall prey to a loss at Paradise in my triple threat match.  Don't worry though, I am not changing my attitude.

Starlight and Isaiah Luck, I am sure both of you will bring everything you have in this match because you desire the victory almost as much as I do.

What?  Did you expect me to say as much as me?

No, I would not say such a thing because in my mind nobody wants this more than me.  Isn't that how we all have to be in this business though?  If you don't believe you want this more than the next person, then what are you even doing here?  I might as well be at Harvard getting my law degree so I could one day takeover my mother's firm.

So yes, I want to be here more than Isaiah Luck and Starlight.  I desire the victory and know I am most capable of attaining that victory.

Now I am leaving the building because I have a long night ahead of me.  It would be nice if I actually had time to enjoy some of the atmosphere of anywhere we visit for shows, but I am lucky to get a few hours of rest.  This is the sacrifice I signed up for...or at least part of that sacrifice.

The first day of training could not have prepared me for anything I have experienced thus far since signing on with CWF, but there was this guy.  He was a real jerk.  Drake Epstein was his name.  Dealing with him was probably the best preparation for being on the road and honestly constant travel on the road is not nearly as bad as dealing with Drake.

Drake was like every guy in high school.  They never listened and believed they only needed to flash daddy's money.  The same goes can be said for Drake as far as training.  He thought he was the star pupil and could do no wrong.  I didn't think I would ever see him again.

Anything can happen.

The bus makes a stop at a gas station / burger king combo on the way to the airport.  PJ Blake straps up (puts her backpack on) and hops right off because she seems hungry.  She approaches the cashier for Burger King.

PJ - A large original chicken combo, please!

Cashier - Uh huh, sure...

PJ sees the price pop up and searches through her pack for her money.

PJ - Gimmie a second, I know I have my money here somewhere!

Cashier - Yeah, whatever.

PJ, unaware, has a shadow cast over her by a man in a leather jacket and a pair of jeans.  He pulls out his wallet and places down the money to pay for the meal.

Man - Don't worry about it Priscilla.  I got this.

PJ - Thank-  hey wait a minute!

PJ quickly lifts her head, almost giving herself whiplash.  She turns to see the man standing at the counter with her.

PJ - Drake?!

Drake Epstein - Do you know anyone else who looks this good... oh wait... you don't.

PJ - So you managed to peel yourself up from where Thomas laid you out flat with his words I see!

Drake laughs softly before responding.

Drake Epstein - Yeah, I bet he thinks he really let me have it, doesn't he?  Well, I am still around and I am on the road wrestling here and there.  You are aware there are other training options than your daddy replacements Thomas and Derek, right?

PJ - I wouldn't have picked anywhere else.

Once again, Drake lets out a laugh.

Drake Epstein - Of course YOU wouldn't have.  You were the chosen one, the one they coddled and protected every damn day while the rest of us went through Hell.  If I was treated like you, Priscilla, then I would have been loyal to them too.

PJ leans back, looking appalled at the accusation, assumption of being coddled (handheld) by her trainers.

PJ - Drake!  You trained for like an hour a day and ONLY ONE DAY A WEEK!  You thought that was-

Drake places his hand to PJ's lips, shushing her.

Drake Epstein - Of course that is how you would see it, but then again you always did live in your own little reality separate from the rest of us.

PJ - Well, Drake-

PJ finds her money finally and slides money into Drake's pocket as her food is slide to her over the counter.

PJ - Thanks for the assist, but I'm doing fine.  I would love to say it has been a pleasure catching up with you.  I sorta thought that if I ever saw you again that maybe you would have mellowed your ego, but I guess that was too much to hope for.  Best of luck with your career dude.

PJ grabs her food off the counter as well as her cup.  She goes to make herself a drink as Drake turns his head, rubbing his chin while he watches her walk over to the drink machine before taking his leave to the fanciest car in the parking lot.  PJ boards her bus.

:: V. Log ::

PJ Blake - You know there is a reason you don't mention people you never want to see again, but that is something for another time, but as shocking as meeting that jerk known as Drake Epstein was, that will not be the distraction that costs me this triple threat match.  I understand what is on the line at Paradise when I step into the ring against Starlight and Isaiah Luck.

Respect, opportunity, and taking the next step up the grand staircase of success.

So do not count me out because I will not be counted down easily.  Isaiah, I realize you have a lot to prove against one-third of the team that defeated the team you were on.  I bet you are hoping you have received the weak link of that team, but that would be your mistake.  You zig, I zag bro!  You zag and I zig... or maybe I zag just to throw you off!

You are not my primary focus, just one of them.

Starlight is there and she is the unknown quantity because I have never been in the ring and whoa... what a mountain of a woman, but then again who isn't a mountain compared to me?  This chica is not going to be an easy obstacle, but I am always game for a challenge.

Then again, shouldn't we all be?

That is all apart of being a professional wrestler, right?  You are either up for the next challenge or you are about to walkout and never be seen again.

Everyone seems to overlook me though and that makes me think about my recent run-in with Drake Epstein.  Here you have this guy, who could not see beyond the tip of his nose.  That's really sad because he was always looking down it when speaking to people.

To people like him, I was the lucky one.  I was the coddled one.

Allow me to set the record straight right here and right now, I was not coddled.  My training was much more than my nine-to-five, but why believe me?

Nobody ever does.

Everyone usually just looks beyond me to their ultimate goal.  Take Autumn Raven for instance, she was distracted because she was worried about her future opponent rather than her current opponent.  So why wouldn't Isaiah and Starlight be the same?

I hope I am wrong.

Personally I am offended because of how things ended with Autumn Raven and I.  We had a classic match spoiled by her getting distracted.  The asterisk is there and it offends me.

But I digress!

Everyone is always looking passed me, but I am THE shining star.  I am the future of CWF.  Every single week here in CWF, I will prove that fact in wins and even in losses.

Starlight, I am ready to climb the mountain.

Isaiah Luck, I am not your redemption.

Both of you, I am the breakout star around here because I want it more.  I have more desire than either one of you.  I love this business and I am going to prove that against the both of you.  Best of luck to ya both!

Ugh... I am getting a text message...

FROM DRAKE?!

PJ brings up the text message, seeing it is somehow from Drake Epstein.

PJ - Oh you sniveling little snot rag!

Oh, taking credit for my V. Log content!  How dare... you know what... no... this is probably how he wants me to react.  He wants me to be distracted.  I have a match to focus on.
