How often should I meet with a personal trainer?

This depends upon your fitness goals, your schedule, and how quickly you want to achieve results. Remember, your health is of utmost importantance, because without it you have nothing. Most clients do best when they meet with a personal trainer 2-3 times per week. If you are the type of person that can and WILL exercise on your own than one time per week will work. that many people will slack off and not get nearly as much out of it. Here are a few things to keep in mind when deciding on how many times per week to meet with your trainer.

1.The more frequently you meet with your trainer the faster you'll see results and achieve your goals because your trainer will be consistant, hold you accountable, motivate, and guide you. In a nutshell you'll work much harder with your trainer than on your own.

2. How much experience with exercise do you really have and how much do you really know about the different exercises? Many people have exercised before, many for years but do you really focused and getting results they want? Nothing can replace the years spent studying and learning about the proper way to exercise like your trainer has done. Would you let someone without experience of knowledge do your taxes? No of course not. So why not get an expert to help you with your health?
