THINGS TO KNOW FOR THE WEEKLY POOL:

It’s pick a winner, straight up.  NO POINT SPREAD.  I have the NFL lines and odds up there for your info. 

Also, if you should forget to circle a team and/or number, you’ll get the favorite. If you don’t put the

Total Tie Breaker Points in, you’ll get the OVER/UNDER.  I’ll try to contact you first, but if I can’t get a hold

of you, again I’ll give you the favorite (better then getting NO pick at all). Don’t forget to put your name on

the sheet and print it so I can read it. Make Sure you check your sheets before turning them in, avoiding any

possible mishaps.   To get me your picks, you’ll have to mail, e-mail, fax, phone, and/or meet me. 

When faxing, please id yourself so I know who you are.  Also CIRCLE the numbers and PRINT your name

so that it is legible.  Fax machines don’t print out the best slips. It’s 10 points a sheet, and you can turn

in as many sheets as you like.  Bring in anyone you think might want a shot at the winnings. The more that

play, the more points to pay. We usually do 1 winner takes all, but, if there are more then 200 players on any

given week, that will trigger us to have 3 winners: 1^st, 2^nd, & 3^rd place. Split being 85% - 10% - 5% of the pot.

Finally, there’s no obligation or commitment to play, so try it out any week.  Play as often as you like and

Whenever you feel like it. Don’t be scared.

TIE BREAKER RULES:

In the event that players are tied (same amount of wins) after the Monday Night Game, we’ll use the

Total Tie Breaker Points to get a winner.  It will be the person closest to the total score, WITHOUT

going over. (Price is Right style)  Meaning, if you think the final Score will total 38, and the final score is

37…You went over.  And If the other player’s total were 28, he’d win.  He was the closest, without going

over.  Only if all the players go over the total, will we use the Mathematically closest.

NOTES/THOUGHTS:

Please check what you turn in, to avoid mistakes. I type what I read, so please print your name clearly

And there won’t be any misspellings. CIRCLE the numbers, it’s not that hard. Remember to fill out the top

and bottom of your game sheet. Understand the tie breaker system. Winners want their points on time,

make sure you get your points in on time as well. If emailing your picks, just give me your winning numbers.

For example: 1-3-5-8-10-12-14-16-17-20-22-24-26-28-29-32 Tie breaker 48.  It’s that easy. 

Faxes are ok, but they don’t print the best and don’t always come thru. Get a confirmation!  I use the web

site for everyone’s viewing and to keep our integrity. I’m not web based though, because I still have

players that like to fill out the paper and/or don’t even own a computer (in case you were curious).

I’ve been doing this since 1999. Comments that I’ve heard that maybe someone can explain, like:

“It’s hard” or “you have to be good to win”. Really, I didn’t realize there was an EASY pool out there

Or that you didn’t have to be good to win. Please let me know where I can find them, I need some

Easy points too. Also if you win and come in thru a middleman, that person will take care of you! DON’T
