With the sponsorship of our graduate chapter of Mu Lambda Zeta in Jacksonville NC
Since our reactivation our chapter has inducted eleven women that are the epitome of our four founding principles of scholarship, service, sisterly love, and finerwomanhood. These eleven women are showing day by day that our chapter will remain strong by doing community service and establishing collegiate programs that empower women.

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority was founded January 16, 1920 on the campus of Howard University in Washington, D.C. by five coeds. These women dared to depart from the traditional coalitions for African-American women and sought to establish a new organization predicated on the precepts of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood. The legacy left by the founders has been traveled by thousands of women dedicated to the emulation of the objectives and ideals of the Sorority.
The Sorority was the, first Greek-letter organization to charter a chapter in Africa (1948); to form adult and youth auxiliary groups, the Amicae, Archonettes, Amicettes, and Pearlettes; and the FIRST and ONLY to be constitutionally bound to a brother group, PHI BETA SIGMA Fraternity, Incorporated.
Today, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority is classified as a non-profit service organization with a membership exceeding 100,000 college educated professional women. The membership operates within eight regions in more than 700 chapters located in the domestic United States of America, Hawaii, Alaska, West Africa, West Germany, Bahama Islands, Virgin Islands, South Korea and Italy.
