Chardonnay 2001 Stone fruit, melon and grapefruit characters, underpinned by French oak. The palate is rich and full with ripe fruite flavours and well integrated oak. The 'worked' complexity of the wine, (barrell ferment, malolactic fermentation, lees stirring and oak handling) add a firmness to the finish which will allow improvement in the medium term. |

Shiraz 2001 Redolent with plums, spice and reobust earthy characters. The palate is rich and spicy with full round mouth filling flavours and quite firm tannins. Matured in both American and Freanh oak, the wine should benefit from careful cellaring, developing richness and complexity as it ages. Awarderd a silver medal ad inaugural 2002 Geographe Wine Show. |
