Popularity

It’s exuberating to see people worry and give you a glance as you walk by
It’s funny to notice their concerns on how you dress, or how you act
Because you don’t fit in their world

I cry like a rain cloud when I see a poor unfortunate soul give into the desires of the world, just for one stupid label (popular).
But what is popularity? It’s like a puppet master that takes you on a wild spin, under his control, all strings attached.

Personally, I see nothing popular about following the latest trends, and saying those hated words
All the gossip and hatred towards those who are labeled uncool, geeks, and nerds
I don’t see how people give into you, just because of you popularity and coolness
It makes no sense to conform to your needs, but then again, I’ve been their before.
