It's like any ordinary day, people putting me down
Trampling over my thoughts, pushing me in a corner
It's like any ordinary day, I continue my prayers
Hopeing for an answer, waiting for the truth

It's like any ordinary day, I survive a hateful crime
Live out today, stand strong and bold
It's like any ordinary day, I continue to hate myself
Disgraced at whats revealed, a faded face I see

But today, it's not like any ordinary day
I found true meaning and happiness within my broken soul
Champagne bubbling over for the void that was now filled
Blessings rained down, the self-hatred dissappeared

Today, tomorrow, forever and ever, I can bless the people that hate me
Forgive their trespasses and continue to offer forgiveness and love
Because I am a new person, and today is no ordinary day
