Every time I try to say goodbye
I look into your puppy dog eyes,
I see your bloody tears form
As I watch you mourn.
I open the red oak door,
I'm ready to walk out that door.
I look back one last time,
I'm leaving you, but it's hard to do.
I slide into my car, I know this is right,
I see you cry, you want one more try.
Hurting inside, Cannot hide,
I'm leaving you, but it's hard to do.
I'll catch the next train, I'm ready to board
I meditate on our good times
But I freeze?
I can't think of one.Back Home 6-2-03 / revised 10-4-03 Ashley Lauer
