Who Wants To Be A Goober

I’m turning 18 next year
It’s kind of scary yet exciting
More privileges, No rules
I feel like I’m getting old

Who says you can’t have fun
even if you’re fifty
and have drenchers in your mouth

Just cause you have a couple of wrinkles
Just cause your age goes up not down
Doesn’t mean its time to grow up
Who wants to be a goober anyways?

I’m still gonna run in the rain
Splash some mud on my face
Pull pranks on my neighbors
My fun will never disappear

Living is what I’m doing
Craziness consumes my life
A kid dwells within me
Who wants to be a goober anyways?
