I told him everything
and it ruined it all
our friendship no longer
no longer does he call
I wish I could revert, undo, change
but all I can do is fall
fall out of our friendship
and put up a wall
to protect myself
A protection from it all
From the troubles that lust has caused
a friendship lost among it all
and as we go our separate ways
in my heart is it all
our times of love our times of loss
and there you are there just beyond the wall
