Boy Scout Troop 531

DESCRIPTION-

The troop of 531 is a small local troop with about 10 to 13 boys. The troop after awhile will feel like a family and you shall become very comfortable with the boys and leaders. We are located in Pa Green Tree Chrinity Church. We have around 6 leaders. We are in the lodge of Lafayette [the first lodge of the BSA]. Every summer we visit a summer camp for 1 week. It is a overnight camp and is very fun experince. There is really not much to say about this troop. Because we have a very small troop. WE do alot of activities though. So there in absoulty no reason why you shouldn't join! If your a boy get down here and sign yourself up now! BOY SCOUT TROOP 531 WANTS YOU!

UPCOMING EVENTS- Come to this weeks meeting. We are going to be helping the new boyscouts with their backpack for this weeks camoing trip.

6/21/2003 I learned a very very valubale lesson a few camping trips back, and it was "NEVER PUT YOUR TENT UNDER A TREE!!!!" Because if it rains for a few minutes it will be dripping on your tent for hours because of the tree and that will flood your tent. Chase.

6/21/03 Well, i really don't have any thing to say... TRUST me on this join our troop. We have alot of activities within our troop, just today we had a hot dog sale to earn money for our scout funds. John

6/22/2003 The worst trip we ever went on was our trip to The New Jersey shore in wildwood. It was raing so hard our stuff was floating in our tents and the wind was so bad our tents were pulled out of the ground and even our sand stakes were out of the sand too. Chase+John

• A.- We meet almost every Thursday from 7pm to 8:30pm.

• A.- We meet at Green Tree Trinity Church.

• A.- We meet in our full uniforms or in out scout t-shirts
• Q.- Do you do anything other then your meetings?
• A.- We do a lot of things. We do a camping trip almost every month. We do Christmas tree sales, Car washes, Hot dog sales and many other things

• A.- You need a boy Scout uniform and a scout book and a camping backpack. The uniform and book we will provide.
