Trinity Lutheran School is owned and operated as part of a ministry of Trinity Lutheran Church, a non-profit organization as determined by the IRS. The following information is provided to help in familiarizing you with the goals of our school and some of the procedures and policies that we use. these policies are determined by a governing board that consists of volunteer members of Trinity Lutheran Church, Franktown, and are subject to change.

Our Purpose

The purpose of Trinity Lutheran School is to provide academic training in a Christian environment. It is important that the school and home work together reinforce the education and training the child receives, both at school and home. The responsibility for the spiritual training for the child remains, with the parent or guardian. The school will assist the parent or guardians in spiritual training, but will no take that responsibility from them or do it for them. As the teachers and parents work together, the children will be provided with opportunities to grow spiritually, intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically. We follow God's directive in educating children, "Train up a child in a way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6) "And you fathers, provoke not your children to wrath; but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord." (Ephesians 6:14). The school is an integral part of the church and is given to teach the truth of salvation. Christ's suffering, death, and resurrection for us are the basis of all we think, say, and do.
