User.ini.

The user.ini is all the settings about your ut2003, everything you do on ut2003 is stored in your user.ini, however, the user.ini is a very useful thing when you want something to be written automatically instead of you typing it.

Ok, here is an example.

If I wanted to say "get our flag back", instead of typing it there is a way to do it so you press one key and it comes up typed in for you.

Here's how it's done:

  1. You can NOT do it in the game so you have to first of all exit the game.

  2. Click start in the bottom left corner of your desktop and go to search.

  3. Click on search and then click "for files or folders".

  4. Then click on "all files and folders" and type in "user.ini" in the top search browser.

  5. then a list of things should come up, you want the file called UT2003 system.

  6. When you find that file double click it and it will open a really complex looking page, you don't need all the complex stuff :) pfewww.

  7. Scroll down to a part of the page that looks like this:

A=

B=

C=

and so on.

    8.   You can do it really easily from this point, what you have to do is, next to the A= (or any other letter except for "T" and "V", never overwrite t or v) you have to type: say then whatever you want in here.

EG.

A=Say get our flag back.

If you did that you would only have to press the letter a to say get our flag back.

Important.

Never overwrite the letters "T" or "V", and always have a space after the word "Say".

And there you have it, that's how to do speech binds in user.ini.
