Flag carrying.
If you have the flag and you want to avoid getting shot while returning to base here are a few things you can do.
Always stay behind someone, it is better that they get shot than you.
Never go for the flag if you know you will have no backup, if a gang of enemies comes towards you on your own you are pretty screwed.
Always try to travel as fast as you can, how to move fast is described in the moving quickly section a few pages back.
And finally, if you have the flag and somebody steals your flag, don't go after it, you risk getting shot and losing the flag, stay put and let somebody else get it back for you.
