Story of the Nap It is believed that the nap originated around 4000B.C in the time of the Celts. After a hard day of barbarianism the dominant male would arrive back to his home where he would lye down to rest fully clothed only to fall asleep. Roughly an hour later he would be abruptly disturbed in his nap by the smell of cooking meat, indicating dinner. Soon it became a daily occurrence for the hunter to have these naps and as a result they are still very much so popular today as they were 4000 years ago . It Is also believed that the word 'Nap' derived later in the 14th century after the ancient High King 'Lord Napalot' who was renound for naps after a day of hunting with his noblemen. RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE NAP When napping the subject is not obliged to take off any part of his/her clothing. (You must remain fully clothed!) The subject is not obliged to get under the covers i.e. subject must remain lying on the bed or any other napable furniture i.e. couch, car seat or a Laz-E-Boy Recliner 2000 etc. All naps must take place during daylight. All naps must exclude the previous intake of any alcoholic beverages or liquor i. the subject can't be under the influence of alcohol. A breach of any of the abovementioned rule will classify the nap as void, hence putting it in the category of a sleep or a 'two pillow escape'.
