Started singing along to Ning Baizura's songs since 10 years old,I studied never to go flat in any song I was singing to, without ever going to any vocal trainer, that is. At 13, I have been to every single audition for talent competitions held in school bus was always metwith bold "there's always next year" kind of a thing. My participation in the school choir however helped me strengthen my vocal harmony skills and I was more into group singing rather than solo. It was only at the age of 15 when I finally had the chance to appear on stage, competing with 5 other soloists and singing one of my own compositions with only myself playing the guitar. I cherish the moments of being up on stage because to me, this opportunity was not obtained easily. Though my first appearance with a guitar in hand didn't win me any placing, at least I felt appreciated by the chance given to me and I never gave up going through one audition after another. Until the following year when I tried my luck in the Bakat Seri Insan and won the first prize in group singing category followed by The Best Performer title. I was already quite involved in band performance then, together with few senior "The Girlfriends" was formed and we won 2nd runner-up at The Bakat Interact 1999. My final year in high school (year 2000) met one too many achievements within a year when my singing group "Glitz" won first place and my band "Aurora" won third place at the yearly waited for-Bakat Interact. Just months away from SPM examination, I represented Sabah for the Teen Star Contest that was organized by RTM's TV2. Unfortunately the finals was predictably falling on the same day as I was sitting for my Chemistry paper, so I managed to compete at quarter until semi-final round and appeared on TV2 twice. Post high school years brought me greater challenges when I started singing at hotel lounges namely Shangri-La (Bandaran Berjaya) and The Magellan Hotel & Spa. Now taking Diploma in Multimedia Application, I am 20 years old and currently studying in Cosmopoint Institute, Kota Kinabalu.
