This piece (left) is from my book, as well as a project in one of
my 2010 workshops using pastel chalks to create beautiful floral ceramic
effects on polymer clay. This became a fun workshop for the Clayville
guild class that year in Sacramento, CA.
The photo is above is a close up of one faux ceramic floral tile that was
part of my small polymer clay "Cross" wall quilt, published in the "Adapting
Quilt Patterns to Polymer Clay" book. Check out the quilt on pg.106 that
my sister first created in fabric, then I replicated in clay!
This necklace is my first in a series of antique filigree jewelry
with Swarovski crystals offered in my
I created this birdcage while taking Jeff Dever's Wire & Clay,
and Surface Techniques classes at the recent 2006 Ravensdale Retreat.
It took several steps but was well worth the time!
These two tiles were painted with alchohol inks during Patricia Kimle's
Watercolor Techniques class, also at Ravensdale 2006.
