Inspiration Projects
1. This project is fast and easy. Simply thread your favorite color of
beads onto the beading chain (has special thin ends!) placing the
holder finding (item #62236) in the center.
2. Change beads whenever you like to match your outfit! Clip your
work badge onto loop or slide eyeglasses into it!

WATCHBANDS
1. Measure wrist, then add 1/4" to this measurement (so band is not
too snug). Now make sure to subtract the width of the watch
face including any jump rings added to watch face, and the length
of TWO lobster clasps. This will now be the length of
the "beaded portion" of watchband.
2. Thread a small crimp bead onto a 16"L piece of
tigertail cord (very thin nylon coated wire).
3. Thread a lobster claw clasp onto cord. Thread one wire end down through
the crimp bead, leaving a 1"L tail. (See diagram 1 BELOW--but
note that the lobster clasp replaces the purse charm)
4. Pull long end of cord taught, and crimp the crimp bead
(See diagram 2 BELOW).
5. Thread all beads. Often I like a large bead, then a smaller silver
or gold bead, and so on.
6. When beading is complete, add a small crimp bead. To finish, refer to
diagram 3
BELOW, and follow steps 6 and 7 of "Zipper Pull" instructions,
adding a lobster clasp to opposite end of watchband.

INTERCHANGEABLE EARRINGS
1. Use charms with a loop, or a dangle beaded charm
with a loop that you've created.
2. Simply bend the tri-ball sterling earhook end forward slightly,
and thread on your charm from the back wire.
3. Squeeze the earhook closed. That's it! Change them as oftern as you
like to match any out. Create a fun gift by including
additonal charms in with the earhooks.
ANIMAL PRINT HAIR CLIPS
(Uses 2 pkgs. of beads)
1. Replace clear beads with black pearl 'E' beads (from Jet mix) while
re-stringing onto a 12"L piece of beading wire.
2. Apply Aleene's Glass & Bead glue to back of large glass beads, slide
beads together snugly and secure to clip. Leave wire ends in place.
3. Dry overnight. Wrap one wire end around the tip of a pen 3-4 times
and remove pen. Pull opposite wire end leaving only 1" of
spiral end.
4. Glue spiral portion of wire to inside of clip, and let dry several hours.
Clip remaining wire to 2" long, wrap around pen and secure.
5. Repeat steps 1-4 to add beads to opposite side of clip.

CLAY BEADED GLOVES~FAUX BRACELET & RINGS
Note: Whenever using pre-made polymer clay beads, be aware of the SHINY
back side, and the matte front, and position accordingly.
1. Thread needle with clear elastic cord for light colored gloves
(or black for dark) and tie a large knot in one single end.
2. Stitch from the inside of the glove, out, making 3 short stitches in the
same place, starting 1/4" above the bottom edge of
glove ribbing, on one side of the glove.
3. Thread a clear glass bead (does not show in photo above but are
included with clay bead set), then the smallest clay
bead. Continue threading the beads as shown.
4. After last clear bead, make with a few stitches in the same place,
and stitch down inside of glove. Form a large knot and clip cord.
NOTE: Clay rings are stitched in the same manner, or they can be
secured with 7800 glue.

ZIPPER PULLS & CELL PHONE DANGLES
(return to interchangeable watchbands)
1. Thread charm (pendant purse) onto tigertail (clear nylon coated wire) cord.
2. Thread a crimp bead, and first 'bumpy glass' bead onto both cords.
Pull one end of cord leaving just a short 1" tail on the other end.
(see diagram 1 ABOVE)
(return to interchangeable watchbands)
3. Crimp the crimp bead placing it in "step A" portion of pliers.
This forms it into a kidney shape. Then crimp again to round
the bead in "step B" portion of pliers. Or, simply
flatten with chain nose pliers. (see diagram 2 ABOVE)
4. Clip tail close to top of first bead
using wire cutters or heavy scissors.
(see diagram 1 ABOVE)
(return to interchangeable watchbands)
5. Thread a glass bead, then a 4mm silver round bead on single cord.
Continue threading beads, then add a final crimp bead.
6. Thread cord thru the loop in lobster clasp and back DOWN through
the crimp bead and one (or more) project beads (see diagram 3 ABOVE).
7. Pull cord tight so all beads fit snugly together, and while holding in place,
crimp the large crimp bead with pliers to secure.
Clip wire very close to bottom edge of project bead.
+Light blue and lime cell phone dangle (pictured below in
inspiration photo) is beaded on beading wire attaching a
lobster claw clasp to one end.

FUN JEWELRY & BARRETTES
(beading on tigertail and beading wire)
+ANIMAL PRINT BEAD BRACELET/WATCH BAND is created on tigertail (thin,
clear nylon coated wire). Simply follow the instructions for
Watch Bands ABOVE, although
add a large toggle clasp finding on one end, and small toggle piece on the other
instead of the lobster clasp shown in diagram 3.
+BEADED BARRETTES are embellished with a variety of topaz bead box assorted
beads. Start by wrapping beading wire (very thin wire) 2-3 times through the
hole in barrette clip to secure. Come up to the front of barrette,
thread 3 topaz 'E' beads on wire, and wrap around center bar of barrette.
Thread a larger topaz bead and wrap around center bar. After
last 3 'E' beads, thread down to the back of barrette and 3 times
through hole in barrette to secure. Clip wire end and
tuck it away under barrette.
+BEADED ELASTIC RINGS are quick and easy to make. Measure thin stretchy
elastic cord (clear or black) to finger and add length for
a double knot. Thread a square glass black/white animal
print bead onto elastic and tie a double knot. (See image above)
Try it on for size and re-do if needed. Place a small dot of 7800 glue
on the knot, and pull knot into bead hole to conceal.
That's it, you're done!

EMBELLISHED NIGHTLIGHT
Notes: Work on a piece of felt (or felted bead board) to prevent beads
from rolling around. You will use 2 packages of clay beads.
And, whenever using pre-made polymer clay beads, be aware of the
SHINY back side, and the matte front, and position accordingly.
1. Thread a small crimp bead onto an 18" piece of thin beading wire.
2. Thread a clay 'Squares' design bead, then a clear glass 'E' bead
(included in set) onto wire.
3. Continue threading remaining clay beads and 'E' beads, then
add one last crimp bead.
4. Slide beads close together and crimp the end crimps with crimping
or chain nose pliers.
5. Add a dot of 7800 glue to the back (SHINY) side of the center and
both end clay beads. Carefully center the strand and
lay over shade near the bottom edge.
6. Wrap wire around to the back of shade and twist ends together taught to secure.
7. Clip wire ends leaving 1/4" and twist ends back onto wire.
