Basic Instructions
Introduction
It's a thrill to be able to make-your-own rubber stamps, right
at home. When you purchase a home stamping kit, all you'll need
to provide is a small lamp with a standard 60-watt light bulb.
There are several benefits to making and using custom designed
textures and stamps. Since the design is yours, you do not have
to worry about any copyright rules when selling your work.
You can also create a signature or copyright stamp for a professional
look, to use on the back of your pieces. And, one of my
favorite things about the stamp kit, is you can create very shallow
texture or photo stamps, or very deep impression stamps, or anything
in-between. The depth of the design is up to you, each and
every time you make a new stamp.
Polymer and metal clay artists (such as myself) are loving the
custom texture possibilites. You can create a .999 and/or a fine silver
stamp and other important registration marks. I've made a
signature stamp in several sizes, a logo stamp
and a convenient copyright stamp.
Each sealed photopolymer get packet comes pre-measured, sealed
and ready to use. There's no carvin, measuring liquid or
special lighting require. It's also great for businesses! You
can create a return address stamp with your logo for mailers,
the sky is the limit! Once your artwork is printed on a transparency
sheet, you can make a stamp in about 25 minutes!

Instructions
PLEASE READ BEFORE BEGINNING
In the home stamp making kit, you'll receive a booklet of complete
instructions, along with a software program that will prepare
your artwork for you and a CD with a fabulous video demonstration
explaining and demonstrating each step in detail. Read through
the guide and follow the instructions precisely. For this
reason, I have not included the step-by-step stamp making
instructions in this tutorial, so as not to duplicate what you
will already have within the kit. I do however want to share
the simple basic steps with you so you will realize that you
really can make high quality, real rubber stamps, just like
the ones you can purchase, for less money and with ease.
The process is fun and rewarding, trust me! Who knows, maybe
