Instructions
Note: WALLIES are strippable. To remove, simply wet the cutouts
very well and peel them off. The glue is water soluable.
1. Each package of WALLIES includes removeable sticky dots for
temporary placement of the designs. Position and plan your layout
using these dots to temporarily secure them to your surface.
2. Get a sponge (or paper towel) wet with water and wring it
out so it's not dripping. Place on a plastic plate or dish.
3. Place the cutout on the sponge to wet the back and apply to surface.
You may also choose to spray the back of WALLIES with water and apply.
4. Allow to dry, checking edges after 1-2 minutes, and then again after 5-10
minutes. Smooth any wrinkles and the edges from the center,
outward, with finger, if they are not flat against surface.
Simply re-wet any areas that need a little help to stick.
HELPFUL HINT
~When working on a curved surface, it helps to make a few 1/4" long clips
into the outer edge of your shape, allowing them to lay flat on a
domed surface. The wallpaper can slightly overlap at each clip
for ease of application. See ceramic lamp cutout below.
Additional Application Ideas
Scrapbooks and Albums can be decorated nicely with WALLIES Cutouts.
These designs were made into an album cover collage by blending the
edges somewhat with metallic paints, overlapping rubber stamp
designs and adding no-hole beads with clear glue.
Cupboards can be boring, why not add some WALLIES cutouts to spice
them up like I did on this kitchen cupboard!
This wooden serving tray was a breeze to make. Simply paint the tray
with two coats of soft white acrylic paint and add two cutouts
to the ends.
WALLIES also come in a wide variety of fun, colorful designs such
as these surfboard cutouts, and the tropical mural above.
The cutouts were secured at various levels to a purchased,
pre-painted, child's art case.
