The bungalow is well protected by a perimeter wall and sturdy entrance gate giving access to the parking area.
With
ease four cars can be parked in the parking area. Further
the garage easily accommodates a large sedan or MPV. Entrance
to the foyer of the bungalow is via the traditional Balinese style
entrance gate. The
three level pond directly creates the friendly atmosphere.
Next to the foyer deck and master bedroom pool-deck it also provides a third private place to enjoy the garden.
Dining
together has a special meaning in The
dining room plays therefore an essential role. The
open dining room overlooks the front garden and the fishpond of the back
garden. Both
kitchens are adjacent to the dining room. The servants normally cook in the wet kitchen; the dry kitchen is intended for special occasions.
The
living room is next to the dining room. It also is the first of the
“enclosed” area which can be locked. It
is naturally ventilated, yet cool…. How?
Just copy how Indonesians liked to live in the past. High
ceilings, large ventilation openings and the large exhaust in the
skylight ensure a constant mild breeze of fresh air. More
comfortable and healthy than air-conditioning. The living room also gives access to the studio and the four bedrooms.
Each
bedroom is equipped with a powerful air-conditioning and has its own
bathroom. Three
bedrooms are nearly identical. (see photo on the left-side showing the
washbasin next to the entrance of the bathroom). The
master bedroom is provided with a walk-in closet and a spacious bathroom
with: -
two
washbasins; -
Jacuzzi; -
Separate
shower; -
Toilet. A
powerful solar hot-water boiler with electrical back-up ensures a steady
supply of hot water even with other bathrooms occupied as well. Large
twin doors provide access to the separate pool-deck. Location
