Welcome to Project S.A.F.E. Eastern Kentucky Animal Welfare League. We are a non-profit organization that relies on donations, adoption fees, and fundraising. Our mission is to provide a safe haven for homeless animals where each will be treated with kindness and respect, to protect the animals of the community from abuse and neglect and to educate its citizens with information concerning responsible ownership. Most animals end up in shelters not because they were less than ideal but because their owners were.
