o        Dynamic Input Components

      Role: Project Leader

      Environment: Flash MX.

Dynamic Textbox Component.

This control can take the input of all kind of mathematical expressions like Fractions, Radical, Exponents, Trigonometric, Integral etc. and also the combinations of the same at multiple levels, as complete OOPS concept is used. The input can be evaluated, can be read and can be rewritten by the host program through the XML tags specially built for the first time for this purpose and is called “Qmath”.  And the control can be used in VB and can also be used over the Internet directly as it is in Flash and the communication are through pure XML strings.

Dynamic Graph Server Component.

This control is used to display graphs and also take the graphical inputs from the users, which is very user friendly and faster as it is complete OOPS concept. The input can be evaluated, read and rewritten by the host program through the XML tags specially built for the first time for this purpose and is called “Qmath”.  The control can be used in VB and can also be used over the Internet directly as it is in Flash and the communication are through pure XML strings.

Dynamic Expression Server Component.

This control is used to print the complicated mathematical expressions on the host programs and the expression is served as a string/parameter, which is in XML format and is parsed and displayed wherever required. The control can be used in VB and can also be used over the Internet directly as it is in Flash and the communication are through pure XML strings.

Dynamic Number Line Component.

This control can take the input in a graphical representation of the intervals and points over the number. The input can be evaluated, read and rewritten.

I was responsible for training people in Flash MX, designing the controls/components architecture, trouble-shooting, scheduling and maintenance, interacting with my Project Manager regarding the same.

Environment: Visual Basic 6.0 and Flash 5.

The project consists of 47 modules with each module covering a concept in Algebra. Each module has 4 modes - Demonstration, Instruct, Practice and Certification. The product has an On-line tutor and Explain Error to support the student to solve the problems.  The product is network and multimedia compliant.

It is packed with several multimedia effects. It includes sound support as well as video support. The video titles are inserted through windows MCI. This Project also included several imaging effects such as page-to-page transition and screen composing, custom buttons. These are achieved through a third party tools called "FXTools".

This also includes the interactive screens, which are done in Flash, and the complete client interface is done in Flash.

I was responsible for Learning, designing and development of all the works related to Flash. This was the first time in the company Flash 5 was being introduced and implemented.
