Trash Talk

August 2007 Edition

Ok, so it has been a long time (May) since I have written anything.  I blame it on being on second shift since the begining of this year.  Now that I am on 3rd shift, I have more time to write and can now attend the montly meetings.

We recently had the Beat Trash August meeting/cookout, which was preceded by a ride.  The annual cook out was a success and fun!  Everyone eventually left at about 1:30am  (if I am not mistaken).  Kudos to the host and hostess!  The food and company was great!  If you missed it, try and catch it next year.  It will take the place of the August meeting if everything goes as planned.

A bunch of us went on a benefit poker run put on by the Untouchables MC.  Pics of the event are on our picture page.  The run started at Hannigans Pub in Madison, then out to the Nut House Bar on E.185th St. in Euclid, then to Frankie's Pasta and Pub in Eastlake, then to the Stadium Bar & Grill in Mentor, and then wrapped back up at Hannigans where a pasta dinner was served along with raffles and door prizes.   The proceeds went to the Don Mantell family.  Don is a Lyndhurst Police Officer who has been diagnosed with cancer at the age of 38 ( I believe), has 4 children, one 4 years old and triplets who are 18 months old.  Please visit
www.donmantell.org for more information.

Please check back to Beattrash.com for September meeting information.
