Who are you?

I'm Peng to the family, Lilian to my colleagues, Hongky to my childhood friends, Lils to my close pals at work, Ibu to

my Indonesian colleagues, Ah Ma among my Hong Kong mates, Aunty Peng or Peng Yee to my dozen "adorable"

but incorrigible nieces and nephews.

Where are you from and where are you headed?

Originated from a small port town in M'sia called Port Klang; spent the first 17 yrs of my life conspiring how to get out of small town life for good; spent the next decade living it up in Kuala Lumpur, had the first dose of living overseas in London trying to market Marmite to the the Brits, returned to KL with the travel bug, and then left again to wander around the Asia region for the next decade trying to flog ciggies to whoever wanted it. And when I'm true with ciggies........ vive la Malaisie, I will return to thy bosom.

Tell us a little about yourself...

That's being presumptious to think that anyone would be interested in wanting to get to know me better!

How did you meet Pat and how long have you known him?

I met this "squiggly" thing for the first time at Pantai Hospital in KL, having the good fortune of being his aunt.

He was a pleasant, good looking baby, always ready with a smile and wouldn't hurt a fly (except occasionally

swatting at the "amoeba"). I've watched him go through the agonies of growing up; a grunchy teen, and then a young,

not so bad looking twenty something - trying to find his identity and place in life. "Sigh" - how familiar it all sounds.

I've known him superficially all his life - only on occasion, glimpsed at the true self. If only he knew how much I can

identify with what he's going through in life!

What do you think of him?

It would help you a great deal if you were a little more confident of yourself, and your self worth. A nice soul at heart, but

always using humour and wit to mask his real self. Not easy to hold a conversation with - god knows why! Great company

when you want monosyllable answers. Creative, talented, kind of lazy unless it's something of great interest to him; Wake

up ....there's a whole world out there waiting for you to discover and conquer!

Describe him in one sentence.

A good natured soul, waiting for his talents to be discovered ........but he has to get off his butt!

Any good embarrassing stories that require sharing?
