Dr. Nam-Son Ngo-Viet
Doctor Nam-Son NGO-VIET has had more than 20 years of teaching and professional experiences in international planning and architecture developments in Asia (China, Japan, Philippines, Singapore, and Vietnam) and North America (Canada and United States). He got a doctorate degree from University of Washington, a master degree from University of California at Berkeley, and a diploma of architecture from University of Architecture in Ho Chi Minh City. He has encompassed his works with a vision of interdisciplinary practical research bridging with practice, including teaching at leading universities (University of California at Berkeley and University of Washington), working at leading professional companies (Skidmore & Owings, Merrill, office of architect Ngo Viet Thu, RR Associates), and providing strategic consultancy to governments (Vietnam, Canada, and United States). Dr. Ngo-Viet has been member of professional and academic institutions, among them are American Institute of Architects, American Planning Association, and Union of Architects of Vietnam. He is proficient with computer applications of word processing, digital media, and 3D design and simulation. He communicates fluently in French, English, and Vietnamese.
