Maoist sins in pictures: 1 The Maoist "people's war" flared between February 1996 and January 2003 killed 8,000 people of Nepal that include police, military, guerrillas and innocent civilians. This is only official data, but the number claimed by independent observers goes as high as three times. What the truth now coming out is that the so-called "people's war" waged by the so-called revolutionary Maoist was a joint-venture between King Gyanendra and the Maoist top leaders to create political chaos and to overthrow democracy. The King did a coup already on October 4, 2002. Sources say that the King is going to form another non-elected government, in which Maoist leader Dr. Baburam Bhattarai would be Prime Minister of Nepal. Should Bhattarai make the drama of "people's war", taking thousands of innocent lives to become Prime Minister? History will never forgive these assassinators - Gyanendra and Maoist leaders. This is high time for the democrats and the honest guerrillas, who struggled for real, to be united to overthrow these political murderers. Jay Nepal! |
