Welcome to my MAME cabinet page. I built my cabinet in September 2003, after several weeks of gathering information and cold-calling arcades to try to find an empty cab. Once I had all my questions answered about TV's, controls, computers, and MAME, I took the plunge and just built it. It doesn't require a tremendous knowledge of woodworking, electronics, computers, or gaming to build one. But you will know a lot more about these things when you are finished. My advice is to be patient, be flexible, ask questions and do your homework. Oh, and set aside about $800.
