| Why does this work? Have you ever trained
your hair (in some places it is a lost art)? If
you ever have, you know that it’s a process of persuading
your hair to act a little different. It’s still curly
hair – just curly hair which is a little less wild, which
waves a little better, or that straighten out and stays straight
(when pressed) longer. It’s just enough so that it’s
very much like (or exactly like) what you really want it to do. It’s rather like training your dog. When you train your dog – he’s still a dog – just not one who will whiz (urinate) on your carpet unless under duress. For as long as your skin is alive and around it will be trained. As your skin sheds there is a new untrained layer to expose to the herbal solutions and ‘train’ – to a new way of acting. This is also the reason that if you forget to wash your face one night and then the next morning – likely – your skin will still be ‘trained’ – because the trained skin is still there (don’t push this – very soon that skin will shed). So, this is what we are doing – training your skin to be smooth with small to normal sized pores, good moisture balance, good color and tone, that is even in lightness and darkness across the face (without excessive scars or crusty sections). Whatever skin you have – we’re doing something to it to act slightly unlike itself – therefore you may have problems using the other “oily” skin or “dry” skin products your did before.
