DeadAIM is an enhancer program for all current versions of AIM. It lets you have tabbed IMs, alerts you with pop-up notifications when anyone signs on/signs off, logs all your conversations in case you forget what someone said (can be turned off), takes out the ads in AIM, and much much more. You can download DeadAIM right here. Click the “Open” button when prompted then the download will start. Once it’s finished, you will have to click the “Open” button or it might open for you. You will have to close out of AIM to install since it is changing you’re AIM settings. Click the “Next” button, then the “Install” button, and last click off the check-box for “Show Release Notes.” Finally click the “Finish” button. When you sign on for the first time with DeadAIM it will ask for your e-mail address and serial number. Enter nothing@nothing.nothing as an e-mail address and ac2479e142671308 as a serial. If that doesn’t work you can download the key generator here. Once you’re signed on and have entered your serial number go to “My AIM” in the menu on top and then “Edit DeadAIM Options.” A new window will appear will all kinds of new preferences. Scan through everything. Nothing you change in these preferences will mess up your computer or your screen name in any way. So don’t be afraid to experiment with anything.
