Do you know the responsibilities involved in being “owned” by a Weimaraner?

Some things to consider before getting a Weim…

Please know that Weims are very demanding “owners.” They will rule the roost if you do not.

They are wonderful companions & will be your best friend if you take the time to train them correctly.

They love to dig, chew, run, play, fetch, sit, stay & believe it or not...They LOVE to listen- I’ve never seen a happier Weim than one who knows what is expected of them...how to behave... There is no way to express how important it is to allow & provide them all of these needs.

Do some research on the breed www.akc.org has a great amount of information on the breed & this site will show you all about the breed standards, traits, history & many things a prospective new Weimaraner companion will need to know.

For those of you who have had Weimaraners in your home & life in the past…

I know why you are here… you know the breed, appreciate them, are aware of their needs & wish to have another. (Are they not the greatest? We would never want to be without their charm & companionship)

About us…Our requirements…Our Weims

We have owned (been owned by) Weims for over 5 years.

Our dogs live where they are allowed to run & play, stretch their legs & expand their minds, test their limits & stretch those too. They have access to a warm dry bed that they are free to enter & exit at will. They are all part of our family where they are daily petted & nurtured & LOVED

We have 2 female Weims in our home now who share all of our in the house time. They at 11 weeks of age are crate trained & at 7 weeks of age had already learned to sit, stay, heel & lay-down. We offer phone/email support to all buyers to help your pet/companion to learn/do the same. See a photo of one of our girls at 7 weeks of age sleeping soundly on the sofa by "Daddy"

We are in awe of this breed & they never fail to teach us new things each day. Our insistance upon the highest of standards for our breeding dogs obviously plays a role in the high quality of the pets we help to produce.

We are not only interested in selling Weims. We breed to improve the quality of future generations. Thru AKC's help with DNA genetic testing & the use of OFA certification thru local Dr's of Veterinarian medicine; we hope to contribute to the assurance of high quality Weims in future generations Our goal is the Weimaraners we help to produce are among the best of the breed. We fail them all if we are not

Prices & availability…

We sell our Weims on a reserve basis. We have pups with Champion bloodlines. We do not show dogs. We raise them, nurture them, work to improve the lines & as we said; overall strive to improve the breed.
