This two-part workshop comes as a consequence of the learning inclination towards globalization. As a matter of fact, the students need to cope with this new world of global learning. To train students to prepare for academic and job interviews has become a must for many reasons; one of which is that it is a component of their college, university and professional life. It is eventually an important step to take before being enrolled in a college or recruited for a job.Training the students for an interview will put them in the dominion of the new era. It is sure that they will sit for an interview sooner or later, and if they don’t have an idea about how to deal with the whole process, it will be very hard for them to put up with the new labour market conditions. The competition will be ferocious, so it has become a compulsion for schools to prepare the students to get familiar with the modern work arena so as not to feel outlandish nor to have any sort of inferiority complex. To be able to fit for the job that thousands of other competitors are after is a tough task for both schools and learners.
On this basis, I thought it was my duty to show the students what adulthood and labour market are like and what they are about to face after graduation or even a little before. This workshop is an initiation to feel comfortable at least when they know that they have to sit for an interview. Once the students are aware of the things they need to pass an interview successfully, they will feel reassured.
