8. The thick black wire is to be connected to chassis ground. You can see where I attached mine in the photo
9. The last wire that needs to be connected is the (+) wire from the MSD tach adapter. I simply spliced this wire into the THIN red wire of the MSD unit (this wire was connected to the ECU + wire in step number 6 above).
10. Now mount the unit and tach adapter, reattach the harnesses that you unplugged earlier, reinstall the intake if you removed it, and re-connect the negative wire to the battery. Time for a test drive!
Note: these directions were written from today from memory, and it's been 2 weeks since I did the install, so make sure to read the instruction manual to confirm that my directions are correct.
