7. Now you need to connect the thick red wire of the MSD unit to a constant 12 volt + source. I used the wire in the fuse panel located at the driver's side of the engine compartment, near the trunk firewall. There's just enough room in the hole at the bottom of the box to fish the wire through. Above is a picture of this connection.
