This is a quick summary of how to install a MSD6-BTM into a N/A MR2. Please thoroughly read the instructions before attempting this.

1. Disconnect negative battery terminal. If you have a stock stereo with the Anti-theft feature, make sure it's disabled if you don't have the code.

2. Locate where you will install the MSD unit. I choose the firewall of the trunk, since I'll be installing a couple other things there later. This location is nice because the coil is nearby.

3. Remove the stock intake assembly to allow more room to work with. Locate the coil (beneath the driver's side fuse box in the engine compartment), and disconnect the upper 2 harness connectors. The 2nd connector with 2 wires going to it is the one that we will be using. See the 1st picture:
