ENGINE OIL RECOMMENDATIONS

Checking the engine oil

Since the proper amount of oil is important for safe operation, check the level of the engine oil each time you put gas in your car. Remember that the engine must be warm and your car must be parked on level ground to get an accurate reading.

To check the oil level:

1. Turn the engine off after the oil is warm.

2. Protect yourself from engine heat

3. Find the dipstick (which is highlighted in yellow and carefully pull it out from the hot engine)

4. Wipe the dipstick clean and put it  back into position

5. Pull the dipstick out again and read it.

CAUTION-  If the oil level is beyond the letter "F" in Full, engine damage or high oil consumption may occur
