Tuition Information

Cost Breakdown
Tuition charges are based on a total charge for all facets of the degree program. There are no additional fees for admission, counseling, testing, manuals, or conferring the degree. Additional text books are available for a fee.

Payment Plans
The student may pay for the course in one of three ways: 1) Payment in full on acceptance to the University ($400 registration fee may be applied to tuition), or 2) Three equal payments during the term of the course, with the first payment due on acceptance to the University, or 3) One third of the total tuition with monthly payments during the term of the course. In any case, degrees will not be awarded until the final payment has been received from the student.

Course Textbooks
The student on enrolling into a program of studies will receive a course syllabus and the first lesson or Learning Module. This will be issued to the student within seven days after the student has been accepted for admission. The student shall receive all the other materials, syllabuses and text books when he/she has fully paid for the program and requested all the materials in writing, after having received the first learning module and initial correspondence. The enrollment agreement lists the institution's and student's rights and duties.

Refund Policy
You have the right to cancel this agreement, including any equipment or other goods and services included in the agreement, and receive a full refund (less a deposit or application fee not to exceed $400) until midnight of the eighth business day after you have completed the first lesson of a correspondence course. You may withdraw from your program at any time during your enrollment period. To withdraw, contact the university in writing requesting withdrawal. If you cancel on or before eight calendar days after your application is signed, LU will refund all monies paid. If you withdraw after the eighth business day and before your courses and study materials are shipped, all monies paid less the enrollment fee of $400.00 will be refunded to you.
Requests for cancellation and refunds should be made in writing to The Registrar, Lincoln University. Refunds shall be made within 30 days following the date upon which the student's withdrawal has been determined.

Refund Schedule
All refund requests must be submitted in writing. Students who withdraw before acceptance to the university receive 100% refund of all fees paid. The University refund policy covers students who withdraw after enrollment in an academic program. All degree programs are designed to be completed in twelve months. The University refund schedule is as follows:
Withdrawal within 3 business days - 100% less $400.00 4 days to 30 days - 85% less $400.00
31 days to 60 days - 80% less $400.00
61 days to 90 days - 75% less $400.00
91 days to 180 days - 50% less $400.00
Beyond 180 days - NO REFUND

Degree program time extensions will be limited to two years maximum to encourage the student to complete the program of study within a reasonable time period.

Payment And Release Of Records
No degree will be granted nor will a transcript be released until all financial, as well as, academic requirements of the University have been met.

Financial Aid and Placement
The University does not have a program for tuition assistance through either scholarships or loans and has not sought state or federal funding. LU has no residency requirements and operates on a low cost/minimum budget per program. The University serves working adults and does not provide placement service.
