Accounting
The Associate in Arts Degree in accounting is designed for those students who are interested in a career in accounting in private industry or in public service, or possibly becoming accounting technicians with a public accounting firm. See accounting course descriptions. Students who already possess bachelor degrees and contemplate preparing for the C.P.A. certificate should contact your state board of accountancy for the eligibility requirements. For students not seeking an Associate in Arts Degree, an Accounting Technician Certificate and an Automated Accounting Certificate are avalable.

Business Administration
The Business Administration curriculum is intended for students who have not decided which field of business they would like to enter. All such students are advised to change to one of the specialized curricula as early as possible. The change can usually be made during the first year without much loss of credit or time. Of course, those who do not wish to specialize may continue in Business Administration throughout the four semesters.
